I have been following the blog of artist Cassandra Warren for awhile now and am never disappointed with her magnificent posts. Her works are sweet and whimsical but also have a sort of macabre undertone. I love the use of old book pages and matte acrylics. These make great little treasures. Bring the outside in!

I love these nature inspired accessories. I'll admit, I'm on a green kick at the moment and have hoarded all kinds of moss covered lovelies as well as silk flower arrangements. If you're anything like me, zero green thumb genes, buying faux plants is a great investment. (Home Goods has an awesome selection of very high quality silk flowers) Decorating with natural type objects is the perfect way to add that pop of color you need. I just think flowers and birds make your home feel, well, more homey.

Shell bottles like these run extremely high. I for one am not willing to pay 200+ for something so tiny, but, luckily these little beauties are really really easy to mimic and DIY. You can actually find everything you need at Hobby Lobby. Or, if you have your own little collections from beach vacations, this is a great way to display your favorite shells.

My husband might wear the pants in this family... but I wash, dry, iron, fold, and put the pants away.

I think these retro housewife prints would be great grouped together in a kitchen or laundry room.
