Not only is the merchandise in Anthropologie fabulous! The store decor is absolutely amazing. Next time, take a few minutes and walk around the store. Really take in their window displays and always look up. They have marvelous things hanging everywhere. You never know, it might be for sale. Take a looksie at these beauties in various Anthro stores.

Today I pulled my favorite photos of store displays incorporating books and book pages. Old books are readily available at just about every flea market and garage sale. Use individual pages to create something out of a dream. And do something green at the same time.

Bring the outside in!

I love these nature inspired accessories. I'll admit, I'm on a green kick at the moment and have hoarded all kinds of moss covered lovelies as well as silk flower arrangements. If you're anything like me, zero green thumb genes, buying faux plants is a great investment. (Home Goods has an awesome selection of very high quality silk flowers) Decorating with natural type objects is the perfect way to add that pop of color you need. I just think flowers and birds make your home feel, well, more homey.

Shell bottles like these run extremely high. I for one am not willing to pay 200+ for something so tiny, but, luckily these little beauties are really really easy to mimic and DIY. You can actually find everything you need at Hobby Lobby. Or, if you have your own little collections from beach vacations, this is a great way to display your favorite shells.

Rope wrapped awesomeness.

For those of you who like to DIY, wrapping old furniture and ugly accessories in rope is a quick and easy way to completely reinvent their looks. All you need is cheap rope (obviously) and a glue gun. And for those of you who don't DIY, places like Pottery Barn and West Elm sell rope wrapped items.

Ten things you can make with burlap.

Burlap is my latest obsession. Turns out when I find something I love, I see it everywhere! Don't go out and spend a fortune in home stores. DIY! You can purchase plain burlap for roughly $2.99 per yard at most fabric stores. Sometimes, you can find old coffee bean sacks or grain sacks with writing at flea markets, but they run at a higher cost. Make your own design, with stencils and fabric paint. It's so versatile, you'll be burlap-ing everything, one glue gun burn at a time!

Coffee filter garland.

Make this adorable garland out of coffee filters. Add color by using thin tissue, pattern paper, old book pages, music notes, and thin fabric like sheer linen. Knot and tie the circular pieces on an old string or piece of twine. Drape over window treatments, hutches, or hang from light fixtures.
